A visit to the central coast province of Ninh Thuan is not complete without dropping by Vinh Hy Bay to admire its beauty.
To get to the bay in Vinh Hai Commune, Ninh Hai District, about 42 kilometers from Phan Rang-Thap Cham City in the province, tourists can take a bus or taxi, or hire a motorcycle.

Upon arrival in the bay, which retains its pristine charm, tourists can see children vending fruit and confectionery to visitors after class. An interesting thing about the place is women vendors are ready to work as xe om (motorbike taxi) drivers for tourists.
Tourists can ask those motorbike taxi drivers to take them to Lo O Stream and along the mountain side where they can get a bird’s eye view of Vinh Hy Bay and take great photos of the bay.

The path to the stream is rough and but once reaching the stream, tourists will find their effort paying off. It is cool there despite hot summer weather in the central province. The crystal clear Lo O Stream originates from underground sources on the nearby Chua Mountain.
Tourists can also spend VND600,000 (US$26.7) hiring a glass bottom boat to admire coral reefs and snorkel at Thai An Beach or Vinh Hy Bay. They can enjoy fresh seafood at floating restaurants.
Those staying overnight at the bay are advised to get up early to watch the sunrise at Rai Cave in Chua Mountain National Park.
