(ĐN)- Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri on August 21 had a working session with the province’s Steering Committee for Tourism Development on local tourism development in 2013-2020 period.
Dong Nai has a huge potential for tourism development with natural forests, beautiful lakes and waterfalls, some of which are among the best known like Giang Dien, Buu Long, Cat Tien.
Over the past years, the companies invested more than VND3,000 billion to upgrade tourist sites. However, further efforts must be made to develop new tourism products and professional services to attract visitors.
The province targets to welcome 2.9 million holidaymakers by the end of 2015. The figure is expected to reach 6 million visitors in 2020.
