(ĐN)- Tourism destinations in Dong Nai received a large number of visitors during the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival, the country’s most significant annual holiday.
Accordingly, more than 97,000 holiday-makers made visits to tourist areas in the province during the nine-day Tet festival, generating over VND8.6 billion for the tourism sector.
The most popular destination among visitors was Vuon Xoai tourist area in Bien Hoa city with around 20,000 tourists arriving within the first days of the lunar New Year.
The province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organised numerous activities and events to attract visitors, including a fireworks display, film festival, art performances, and other traditional games.
