Few thrills rival the sensation of floating through the sky, staring at chasms and valleys thousands of feet below and forgetting that all that stands between you and the ground is a bundle of wires strung between a series of poles.

Few thrills rival the sensation of floating through the sky, staring at chasms and valleys thousands of feet below and forgetting that all that stands between you and the ground is a bundle of wires strung between a series of poles.

That’s what CNN had to say about Ba Ha Hills Cable Car in Danang, its choice as a top 10 world’s most amazing cable car.

“The world's longest cable car is more than five kilometres long.

It opened in 2013, after various parts were shipped to Vietnam from Sweden, Switzerland and Germany.

The cable connects the foot of Ba Na Mountain with the peak of neighbouring Vong Nguyet and holds the record for the largest gondola departure station, which also serves as a museum about the history of the area.”

It gets us a little bit freaked out ... in the best possible way, CNN said.
