As the highest mount in the East of the South (986m), about 11km northeast of Tay Ninh city, Ba Den Mount largely attracts road-trippers, especially during the weekend. From a distance, Ba Den mount looks like a hat in the middle of the plain, posing as a challenge for adventurers. There are different routes to the top and the higher the climbers get, the cooler the air is. From the top of the mount, climbers can get the panorama of a poetic, romantic but still wild area.
Chua Chan Mount in Dong Nai province

Situated in Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai province, about 110km from Ho Chi Minh City, the mount is 800m above sea level. On top of the mount is located Buu Quang Pagoda, the largest and highest pagoda compared to others in the area.
To get to the peak, trippers may climb nearly 400 steps to reach Buu Quang Pagoda, and then get to the peak from the pagoda. Road-trippers, however, choose a different way, climbing from the mount foot to the top, past the jagged rocks, which gives more feelings of adventure.
Ba Ra Mount in Binh Phuoc province

Situated in Phuoc Long Town (Binh Phuoc province), Ba Ra Mount is 723m above sea level, the third highest in the South. Ba Ra Mount brings a peaceful, romantic, and natural atmosphere. Road-trippers can go on motorbike to Bang Lang hill, where the stone steps form the main path to the peak of the mount. On the top, trippers can take in a panoramic view of Thac Mo Hydropower Lake and romantic scenery of the area.

Cam Mount is 705m above the sea level. The mount is famous for its cool air and beautiful scenery; especially, the mysterious legends of the mount attract many road-trippers. From a distance, the path leading up to the mount looks like a snake. Trippers may also experience clouds flying low on the path if starting their trip early in the morning.
Bidoup Mount in Lam Dong province

Bidoup is the highest mount in Nui Ba National Park in Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province. Forest trekking skills and equipment are needed to conquer this 2,287m high mount. Climbers of moderate health could choose a two-day itinerary starting with the reaching of the camping near the peak on the first day and climbing up the peak and get down to Long Lanh foothill station on the second day.
