Thien Duong Cave, or Paradise Cave, is one of the most beautiful, magnificent caves in the world. Opened to tourists five years after its discovery in 2005, the cave is in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park that was recognized as the World Natural Heritage Site in 2003 by UNESCO.

According to scientists at the British Royal Cave Explorers’ Society, Thien Duong Cave is part of a limestone mountain at the altitude of 191 meters above sea level and is surrounded by a primeval forest in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. It is 31.4 kilometers long and 100 meters high.
It is over 60km from Dong Hoi City to the northwest and is just 4km from the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The cave is considered a wonderful land for visitors to develop their imagination upon weird and awesome shapes and sizes of stalactites.
