Pagoda set many records
Linh Phuoc Pagoda in the Central Highlands city of Da Lat holds.
The temple holds seven Vietnamese records including Bodhidharma statues wooden biggest stars; most ceramic pieces; the highest wooden peacock; the highest bell tower; temple with a statue of Avalokitesvara with the largest flowers; many Avalokitesvara statues (324) with the highest Avalokitesvara statue reaching 17 metres; and decoration with 1,000 dragons, the largest number of its kind.
Longest dry cave
Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave was discovered by scientists of the British Caving Research Association in 2005, has a length of 31.4km, the longest dry cave in Asia.
Paradise Cave in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO-recognised world natural heritage site in the central province of Quang Binh, has become a favourite destination of domestic and foreign tourists.
After visiting the cave, many people recognised its irresistible magic, saying that this is really the most beautiful wonder of the Creator on earth.
Largest artificial marina
The Tuan Chau cruise ship terminal in the northern province of Quang Ninh was recognised as the nation's biggest artificial marina by the Viet Nam Record Organisation (VRO).
Covering an area of 1.72 million square metres and home port of over 8 km, the Tuan Chau cruise ship terminal can accommodate more than 2,000 ships.
With favourable natural conditions and located close to the Ha Long Bay, which is a World Natural Heritage site, the marina is an ideal destination for both domestic and foreign tourists.
Longest man-made tunnel system
Cu Chi tunnels were built in 1948 with a total length of over 250kms.
These tunnels are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City.
Cu Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Anerican war. Specifically, the tunnels were used by southern guerillas as shelters during combat, and servied as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters.
Sand dunes with most changing patterns
Mui Ne, located in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province has long been considered the "Hawaii" of Viet Nam. It boasts immense sand dunes meandering through kilometers of red, yellow and white shady sand.
The patterns of sand dunes change significantly overnight or after a gust of wind due to a geological phenomenon of seasonal North-East and South-West winds.
Visitors can visit the sand dunes at any time of the day but the best times to visit are at sunrise.

Thang Long Puppetry Theatre won recognition by the India-based Asian Book of Records for “being the only theatre in Asia that performs water puppetry all 365 days of the year”.
With over 2,000 programs a year, the theatre has introduced the folk art to over 50 foreign countries and territories.
Water puppetry is a unique folk stage art which is associated with Viet Nam’s wet rice civilizatio.
The water puppetry performances have been adapted from nearly 400 folk tales, depicting the history of Viet Nam and people’s daily lives.
Longest sea bridge
Thi Nai is the longest sea-crossing bridge in Viet Nam with over7 km long and 54 spans connecting Quy Nhon City and Phuong Mai Peninsular (Nhon Hoi economic zone).
Thi Nai Bridge is the pride not only of local people but also of many tourists when traveling to Quy Nhon City.
Tallest Jesus statue
The Catholic Association of Vung Tau started construction on this huge statue in 1974 and it was finished in 1995.
The statue faces southerly to the sea and has its arms outstretched.
The statue is 32 metres (105 ft) tall, standing on a 4 metres (13 ft) high platform, for a 36 metres (118 ft) total monument height with two outstretched arms spanning 18.3 metres (60 ft).
There is a 133-step staircase inside the statue.
