You can visit at any time of the year, but the weather is the most pleasant from February to April. In the summer, you can discover many beautiful beaches. If you want to participate in the Ms. Chiem Son festival, Hoi An Carnival, Nguyen Tieu Festival or the Hoi An Full Moon Festival, you should go there on the full moon day to enjoy the magical atmosphere.
2. Transportation
You should visit both Da Nang and Quang Nam because it is very convenient to travel between both. After visiting Da Nang, you can hire a taxi to go to Hoi An (Quang Nam). The distance is only 30km. From Cua Dai, you can go to Cham Island by boat. The fares are VND30,000 ($1.5) to VND100,000. On the island you can bathe in the sea or dive to see corals.
Also, Quang Nam has a variety of beautiful landscapes such as Suoi Tien, Khe Lim, Bang Than or Giang Tham.
You can also visit famous craft villages, ancient temples, Tan Ky ancient house, and Nam Giang – Dac Ta Ooc border gate.
My Son Sanctuary is located in Duy Phu Commune, Duy Xuyen district, about 40 km from Hoi An. The site is located in a valley surrounded by hills and mountains, and is famous for the beautiful clusters of Cham towers.
6. Interesting activities
On the Hoai River.
Choose a cafe to relax and enjoy the romantic Hoai River in Hoi An. There are many nice cafes, especially on Bach Dang Street. You will feel the peaceful life here and all worries will be shed.
Cycling around the city in the morning or evening is interesting. You can explore the old town or wander in the narrow streets or through immense fields.
Take a boat trip on the Hoai River, enjoy the music and experience the stillness of the night.

7. Shopping
There are all kinds of silk clothing to choose from. Luxury shops are very popular stores. You can have a tailor make you a dress or a suit and receive it on the same day. Remember to bargain.

Many small, pretty gifts can be found in the markets and shops in Hoi An at reasonable prices, such as stone statues, jewelry, ornaments, pictures, gift boxes, lanterns, embroidery items, and slippers.
