From Ha Tien Market if turning right at To Chau Bridge, tourists can head straight to Xa Xi border gate for over one kilometer to reach a signboard for Mui Nai. Then they need to travel for a further two kilometers to reach a T-junction where travelers can turn left for Nui Den Tourist Area and turn right for Mui Nai Tourist Area.

Mui Nai is a large area featuring Ta Pang Mountain on one side and the sea on the other. It has many peaceful hamlets and villages leaning against the mountain and shaded by rows of coconut trees. Mui Nai is just one of ten beautiful landscapes in Ha Tien.

Tourists enjoy the Alpine coaster ride from the peak of Ta Pang Mountain

People say that the name Mui Nai originates from a legend. It is said that long ago a curious deer wandered onto the beach and couldn’t find his way home before dying of hunger and thirst and he was swept away by a wave. If you stand on the opposite hill or are on a boat at sea and look back, the far-away mountain resembles a deer bending down to drink water.

Mui Nai is attractive due to its stunning beach equipped with many life buoys made in many weird shapes, fresh seafood and Ta Pang Mountain offering excursionists some fun games. After a swim, tourists can trek up the mountain and go on a rollercoaster from the peak to the foot experiencing an adventurous feeling. On top of the peak tourists can also take in a panoramic view of Ha Tien Town.
