Fog seems to be the specialty of the pass.

Compared with many passes stretching from north to south, Omega is a pretty strange name. It has been known since the provincial road 723 linking Nha Trang and Da Lat was built. This is not only the short route connecting romantic Da Lat and the coastal city of Nha Trang but also one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam.

The Omega Pass is located in Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province. It is also called Hon Giao, Khanh Le, Bidoup and Lung Linh. Each name has its own meaning, attached to the mountain, to people or the characteristic beauty of this pass. With the length of 30 km of the total length of over 200 km of the road, the pass is a destination for tourists for its poetic beauty.

If you start your journey from Khanh Hoa, you only need to go to the Thanh intersection in Dien Khanh district and inquire the way to Da Lat; local people will be enthusiastic to guide you. The advantage of this starting point is the quite flat road.

If you depart from the city of Da Lat, you will experience a little bit of difficulty because the first 10 km is incomplete. However, you can arrive at the Omega Pass more quickly than the other road, so you have more opportunities to flash the most beautiful moments when the sun rises on the pass. That is the only moment when you can feel all of the shimmering beauty of Omega.

You should get up early and hit the road from the center of Da Lat city. Following the road to the Than Tho Lake, through Thai Phien commune, the home to vegetable and flower gardens, you will travel on a path through the forest to the suburbs and then the new road connecting the flower city of Da Lat and the coastal city of Nha Trang.

A great way to enjoy the beauty of the pass is driving a motorbike, at a speed of 20km/h.

The sun gradually rises up--the first rays of light gently dispel the morning mist, revealing a magical space on the pass. That's the Omaga Pass at an altitude of 1,700 m.

The sun rises highly, ripping the dense fog to open a painting of nature under the pass. It's majestic scenery with green hills and the house of Raglai people far away.

The downhill is equally interesting when you "fall" from a height of 1,700 m to 1,000 m and 500 m. Looking back, the scene has changed remarkably. In front, the coastal city of Nha Trang is welcoming.
