On these never-ending rainy days we are always looking for something special. Those who wish to have a fabulous adventure at rivers or hills nearby should check out Giang Dien Waterfall Tourist Site in Dong Nai Province.
The site is located in Giang Dien Commune, Trang Bom District and is only 47km from HCMC, a mere two hour drive on your trusty motorbike.
Tickets are priced at VND50,000 per person and there’s a four-seated railway-modeled vehicle which charges VND15,000 to take visitors to the center of the tourist site. Giang Dien brings visitors a green environment which is suitable for outdoor activities such as camping. Groups of friends or family members can walk around the site and take photos as there are lots of flowers, trees, immense lawns, hills, suspension bridges and tilt houses which reminds people of Dalat City but without the cool temperature.
From a distance, people can hear the sound of the majestic Doi and Giang Dien waterfalls on Buong River. It is recommended that tourists don’t swim during this time of year as they can be swept away by strong water flows.
Giang Dien offers tourists two different kinds of accommodation - Tre Xanh Hotel and Bang Lang Tent Area. If tourists are just on a day trip they can rent a large plastic cover for VND100,000 to enjoy the fresh air and cool winds in the shade. There are also Hoa Su, Phuong Son and Hoang Yen restaurants at the site for tourists to choose to dine. Or you can even have an outdoor barbecue, renting a barbecue grill at VND150,000 and buying a basket of coal priced at VND30,000.
