Dong Nai inaugurates expanded port

Dong Nai (VNA) – Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company opened for use an expanded habour for cargo ships of 10,000 deadweight tonnages (DWT) in Go Dau A Port in Long Thanh district of Dong Nai province on October 17.

The port has the highest capacity in Dong Nai with a 100 metre-long and 22 metre-wide wharf. When connected with the existing wharf system, it will be able to handle three cargo ships of 10,000 DWT at once.

According to the government plan, Go Dau port complex (Go Dau A and Go Dau B ports) will be upgraded to accommodate cargo ships of 15,000 to 30,000 DWT.
