The village uses more than 250 hectares of land to grow grapefruit trees. The villagers combine between growing the trees and receiving domestic and foreign tourists to the village to enjoy the beauty and savour the taste of the fruit.
Growing grapefruit trees in Tan Trieu creates higher economic efficiency than other trees, contributing to hunger elimination and poverty reduction and enriching many locals.

The Tan Trieu grapefruit and eco-tourism village is an attractive tourism site, and can be visited as part of a tour along the Dong Nai River with other traveling sites: Bien Hoa and Tan Van ceramics villages, Buu Long is viewed as a miniature of Ha Long Bay, Tan Buu stone sculpture craft village and ancient pagodas.
