All these constitute a rich and unique complex of landscapes, of which Nui Chua (Top Mountain) and Ba Na Resort are the most attractive spots where everyone can enjoy a pleasant lifestyle.

The Ba Na Project is aimed at building this area into a tourist resort of great attraction to the local and foreign visitors. At present, a 15km-long path from the foot of Nui Chua to its peak, 1,482 m high has been asphalted. Due to the terrain of the Mountain, the path is still steep and not large, yet this trek attracts those who love adventure. Taking this tour by car, by foot or sitting on a palanquin carried by two persons, visitors can not help, but stop several times to enjoy the magnificent views or take photographs of the beautiful landscapes. Seen from afar, the winding path looks like a soft silk thread clinging to the dark green mountainsides under the blue sky with floating white clouds. In fact, this path has existed since 1925 when the French chose Nui Chua- Ba Na area to build a health resort with big and small villas for the high-ranking officials of the ruling colonial regime in Vietnam. At that time, the path was narrow and rough, so some drivers did not dare to venture up the slope on misty days.

Nowadays, the old villas are deserted, giving a feeling of nostalgia. However, besides them there are newly-built hotels and facilities, including the beautiful hotels of Hoa Rung, Nha Rong, Hoang Lan and Le Nim, each with hundreds of modern conveniences. A modern system of cable cars helps the visitors get a birds-eye view, very miraculous and attractive while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky amidst the clouds and wind. Director of Ba Na Tourist Centre, Nguyen Hong Duy Phuong showed us the sites where Da Nang Tourism Company will build the new resorts, including convalescence homes, a three-star hotel with 100 rooms and an area for private businesses investment. These facilities would help reduce the overload of tourists during summer time. This is the most wonderful period of the year, as the visitors can enjoy the climate of the four seasons within a day: spring in the morning, summer at noon with the temperature still below 25^oC, autumn in the afternoon and winter in the evening. The climatic change also brings miraculous changes in the sunshine, wind, cloud, rain, mist and colour of nature, giving the visitors a feeling of being in a fairy-land they have never seen before. Enjoying nature they will feel relaxed and healthy and have peace of mind, which gives them a hearty appetite, even when they eat traditional simple food, such as the sea products from Danang fish market or other products from the forests.
