Vung Tau helicopter tours take first 40 tourists on August 28.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourist Company and Thai Son Tourist Company have begun operating helicopter tours taking in popular destinations around the resort city, Vung Tau.

Three tours are offered, the shortest at 7 minutes, covers Back Beach , O Cap Cape, Front Beach , Dau Beach , and Cua Lap. The longest is 42 minutes including destinations such as Ky Van, Loc An sea gate, Binh Chau, Xuan Son, Ngai Giao, and Phu My.

The flights operate at an average height of 150-500m and a speed of 150km per hour. The cost of the three tours is $20, $30 and $60 /person respectively. Flights operate with a  minimum of 24 passengers; with a per person surcharge for flights operating with less than the minimum.
