Dalat, a lovely resort city. With its green, rolling hills, misty lakes and fragrant pine forests. Dalat is Vietnam s most romantic destination. Set at an elevation of 1.475 metres, surrounded by forests, coffee plantations and gardens. Dalatis often called the "City of Eternal Spring" or "Le Petit Paris".

While the surrounding lowlands bake in summer heat, Dalats temperatures hover between a cool 15 and 24 degrees Celcius. Whatever effort one makes to describe Dalat they find it difficult to express in words all the attractiveness and exclusiveness that she possesses, only when setting foot on her land do they perceive the romantic and poetical features of this lovely city. The Dalat area was once famous for its big-game hunting, and a 1950s brochure boasted that a two-hour drive from the town leads to several game rich areas abounding in dear, peacocks, wild bear, pheasants, black bear, wild caws, rabbits.
