During the visit, the delegation inspected several satellite campuses, assessing existing facilities and items prepared for investment under the project. The inspection found that, in general, the school system at both communes meets basic teaching and learning needs. However, several challenges remain, including numerous scattered satellite campuses, inconsistent infrastructure, limited space at some school facilities, and shortcomings in meeting national school standards and organizing semi-boarding facilities.

Following the field visit, the delegation joined a working session at the Hung Phuoc Commune People’s Committee headquarters. Leaders from both communes reported on current infrastructure conditions, investment needs, project scale, and land fund for construction during the 2026–2027 period.
As for Thien Hung Commune, two projects with a total investment of 25.3 billion VND were launched in 2025 at Thanh Binh B Primary School and Thien Hung A Primary School, both projects are progressing on schedule. However, the commune still has 10 other projects planned for 2026–2027 period that have yet to secure funding. The commune also proposed further investments across preschool, primary, and secondary levels, including plans to develop an inter-level boarding school to serve students in remote and disadvantaged areas.
Regarding Hung Phuoc Commune, its education system includes inter-level and preschool institutions with multiple satellite campuses. Many facilities remain scattered, lacking synchronized infrastructure, boarding amenities, functional areas, and student activity spaces. To address these issues, the commune People’s Committee has proposed five key projects, including completing the Hung Phuoc Primary–Secondary School as an inter-level semi-boarding school, investing in the Muoi Mau hamlet campus, upgrading Phuoc Thien Primary-Secondary School and investing in Hung Phuoc Preschool…. These projects were expected to include facilities such as dining halls, dormitories, multi-purpose buildings, playgrounds, fire prevention and fighting systems, and modern teaching equipment.
At the working session, representatives of departments and agencies exchanged and guided localities on the conditions, procedures for investment; the completion of dossiers, planning, capital allocation, ensuring project implementation in accordance with regulations.

Priority should be given to providing resources for urgent projects to gradually improve the school system and enhance the quality of teaching and learning in border areas, meeting development demands in the new period.
