This reality signals a positive outlook for the labor market, opening up more opportunities for workers to secure suitable employment.
Competitive welfare policies attract workers
After weeks of submitting job applications and attending interviews, Nguyen Thi Diem Huong, a resident of Long Hung ward, Dong Nai province, was recently recruited by An Loi Garment Co., Ltd. in Amata Industrial Park (IP). She said that after comparing options, she chose to work for the company due to its favorable welfare policies.
“The working conditions are good, and productivity-based bonuses offer employees opportunities to increase their income. Therefore, I have decided to stay with the company long term,” Huong shared.
An Loi Garment Co., Ltd. is currently recruiting hundreds of workers to meet its post-Tet production plan. Each day, the company’s human resources department sets up a recruitment desk at the factory gate to receive applications, provide consultations, and conduct interviews for job seekers. Do Trung Kien, a recruitment officer at the company, said that to attract workers, the firm has introduced a range of benefits from the outset. Workers can earn a total monthly income of 9–15 million VND, while referral bonuses for new hires range from 1.5 to 2 million VND per person. In addition, probationary employees receive a monthly allowance of 3 million VND for four months, along with more than 21% social insurance contributions paid by the company.
Similarly, On Semiconductor Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Bien Hoa 2 IP is also welcoming new workers to meet growing production orders. The company offers a basic salary of 5.5 million VND per month, along with attendance and travel allowances, a 13th-month salary bonus, and KPI-based rewards. Notably, it also provides health insurance coverage for employees and their family members.
Pham Nguyen Bich Phung, a human resources officer at the company, said the firm currently employs nearly 2,000 workers and needs to recruit an additional 150–200 production workers to fulfill signed orders. Applicants are only required to have graduated from lower secondary school. In addition to complying with all State-regulated benefits, the company places strong emphasis on employee welfare to help workers feel secure and remain committed over the long term.
Across industrial parks such as Amata, Bien Hoa, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, and Dong Xoai, many enterprises are implementing plans to expand production, creating very high demand for workers. To attract workers, enterprises are offering competitive salaries along with various benefits, including housing support, travel allowances, attendance bonuses, productivity bonuses, and shuttle bus services for workers. In addition, vocational training programs are also being rolled out to help workers quickly adapt to the working environment.
Thousands of workers needed
The first job transaction session of 2026, recently organized by the Dong Nai Employment Service Center, attracted 24 enterprises with a total demand of nearly 3,000 workers. Recruitment focused on sectors such as garment, electronics, mechanical component manufacturing, financial services, and general services, with a wide range of positions, particularly for unskilled labor.
Elite Long Thanh Co., Ltd. in Loc An – Binh Son IP is seeking around 800 workers for the garment sector. The company is also recruiting for 180 positions, including printing workers, line supervisors, embroidery workers, quality control staff, and office employees, with salaries ranging from 7.8 to 16 million VND per month, depending on the position.
With tens of thousands of vacancies yet to be filled, the labor market is expected to remain dynamic in the coming period, creating more opportunities for workers to stabilize their income and improve their living standards. According to the Dong Nai Employment Service Center, enterprises across the province are expected to recruit about 30,000 workers in the second quarter of 2026.
Van Thi Hien, Recruitment Manager at Elite Long Thanh Co., Ltd., said that as a company specializing in the production and processing of sportswear for major global brands, maintaining a stable workforce is crucial. The company currently has abundant orders through the end of 2026 and is continuously recruiting in large numbers. One of its standout policies is a childcare allowance of 260,000 VND per month for employees with children under six years old. If both spouses work at the company, both are eligible for this support, with no limit on the number of children. After signing labor contracts, employees are also provided with free 24/7 accident insurance for themselves and two family members.
She added that in addition to participating in job fairs, the company has been leveraging livestream platforms for recruitment. It has also sent staff to communes and wards to conduct direct interviews to ensure sufficient labor supply. Workers without skills are trained by the company and provided with appropriate benefits to encourage long-term commitment.
Alongside demand for unskilled labor, recruitment for skilled personnel in fields such as technology, engineering, production management, and e-commerce is also on the rise. These positions play a key role in digital transformation and enhancing enterprise competitiveness. However, the Dong Nai Employment Service Center advises workers to proactively improve their skills, update their knowledge, and align their career orientation with market demand.
Tran Dai Ky, Deputy Director of the center, said that in the first quarter of 2026, enterprises needed nearly 68,000 workers, including 14,000 in March alone. To strengthen job matching and career guidance, the center has intensified consultancy and job placement activities, creating favorable conditions for those receiving unemployment benefits to rejoin the labor market. It has also coordinated with local authorities to organize mobile job transaction sessions at the grassroots level.
