Tet gatherings held for disadvantaged trade union members and workers

As part of the " Lunar New Year (Tet) of Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party” program, on the morning of February 1, at the hall of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks Area 5, the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor organized a gathering with families of disadvantaged workers.

Understanding the worries and hardships of workers upon the arrivals of Tet and Spring, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 159 meaningful gifts. Each gift is worth 2.4 million VND, including: 2 million VND in cash and essential goods (cakes, jams, essential Tet items) worth 400 thousand VND.

"Every worker is an important link for the development of the province's businesses. These Tet gifts contain the affection and wishes of the Trade Union organization, hoping that workers will have a truly warm and complete traditional Tet," shared Nguyen Quoc Dung.

The gift-giving activity is not only a source of material encouragement but also a solid spiritual support, helping the workers to have more faith and commitment to their businesses and to feel secure in welcoming a new Spring, continuing to dedicate themselves to the development of businesses and the locality.

This is an annual activity of the Trade Union organization, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, the State, and the Trade Union organization for the lives of trade union members and workers.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labour Nguyen Duc Thang emphasized: The “Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program is a practical activity, clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in taking care of the material and spiritual lives of trade union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances. The program is organized with the desire that every union member, every worker's family, feels the care and sharing, so they can work with peace of mind and remain committed to businesses and the locality.

The leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labour also acknowledged and highly appreciated the companionship and cooperation of businesses in caring for workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in industrial parks in the province.

Within the framework of the program, the organizing board presented Tet gifts to 150 trade union members and families of trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Although these gifts are not great in material value, they represent affection and sharing, providing more motivation for workers to have more joy in celebrating Tet.

*On the same morning, at An Phuoc Commune Cultural Center, the Provincial Federation of Labour organized a gathering for families of disadvantaged workers on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year of the Horse. These are workers working in industrial parks in former Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts, belonging to Area 3, Provincial CoL.

The gathering took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere, bringing many emotions among Trade Union officials, business leaders, and 50 disadvantaged worker families, especially those who have not had the opportunity to return home during Tet for many years.

At the program, families had the opportunity to interact, share stories about their lives and work, contributing to increased understanding, solidarity, and cohesion.

At the gathering, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thi Tuyet acknowledged and praised the efforts and important contributions of the workers and laborers over the past period. She also emphasized that the Tet gifts presented by the Trade Union organization not only hold material value but also demonstrate care and sharing, contributing to a warm and meaningful Tet atmosphere for union members and laborers. This affirms that the Trade Union organization is always a reliable support, continuing to accompany, care for, and protect the rights of laborers in both work and life.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented meaningful gifts to the participating worker families, each gift worth 2.3 million VND, including cash and Tet gifts; and presented gifts to 150 workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND. In addition to the gifts presented at the gathering, in Industrial Parks Area 3, the Provincial Federation of  distributed over 14,000 gifts to grassroots Trade Unions to care for disadvantaged workers during Tet, ensuring that all union members and laborers can enjoy Tet holiday.
