Provincial delegation of NA deputies presents Tet gifts to disadvantaged workers in Trang Bom commune

On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year of the Horse, on the afternoon of February 1, the Dong Nai provincial Delegation of National Assembly (NA) deputies, in coordination with the Provincial Labor Federation, organized a gift-giving event for disadvantaged workers in Trang Bom commune, Dong Nai province.

Attending the event were Le Hoang Hai, a full-time member of the NA’s Committee for Science, Technology and Environment; Bui Xuan Thong, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Delegation of the NA deputies; Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation, and representatives of local authorities.

The delegation attentively  inquired about the lives, jobs, and living conditions of the workers; and presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged workers, each worth 1.3 million VND, including gifts and cash. These gifts were supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Sharing with the workers, delegate Le Hoang Hai, a full-time member of the NA’s Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, emphasized: Workers are an important force contributing to the socio-economic development of the country in general and Dong Nai province in particular. With their diligence, effort, and sense of responsibility, the workforce has actively labored and produced, creating material wealth for society and ensuring income for their families.

The Tet gift-giving program is a practical activity aimed at caring for the material and spiritual well-being of workers. The material value of each gift may not be large, but it demonstrates the concern and sharing of the Party and State leaders and the Trade Union organization, with the hope that the workers will enjoy a more fulfilling traditional Tet.

Delegate Le Hoang Hai expressed his hope that the Dong Nai Trade Union organization would continue to care for and improve the lives of workers so that they can feel secure in their work and have a long-term commitment to their businesses.
