On February 7, in coordination with Dong Nai General Hospital, the People’s Committee of Da Kia Commune, the Youth Union of Tran Bien Ward, and ASTRA Center for Foreign Languages & IT, the Dong Nai Department of Health organized a program providing free medical examinations, medicine distribution, and gifts for policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged residents in Da Kia Commune, Dong Nai Province.

The activity was held to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress, welcome the Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Horse 2026, and commemorate the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955-2026).

During the program, doctors and medical staff provided health check-ups, consultations, and free medicine to more than 200 residents in the locality. In addition, the organizing committee presented 200 gift packages, each valued at 300,000 VND, to disadvantaged households and policy beneficiary families, helping them enjoy a warmer, more joyful Tet.
* Also on this occasion, the Internal Security Division of Dong Nai Provincial Police, in coordination with Tri An Commune Police and Thong Nhat General Hospital, organized a similar program offering free medical check-ups and medicine distribution, along with 150 gift packages and 350 free meals for disadvantaged households living in the Tri An reservoir area (Tri An Commune, Dong Nai Province). The total value of gifts, medicines, and meals reached 166 million VND.
