On February 13, Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation (DLF) continued implementing the program “Trade Union Bus Trip – Spring 2026,” arranging 19 free bus trips to take disadvantaged workers back to their hometowns to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Tet) with their families.

The program supports hundreds of union members and employees working in industrial parks across the province, with priority given to workers who have not been able to return home for many years, those facing reduced working hours or job losses, and others in difficult circumstances.

The trips were carefully organized to ensure safety and proper routing, creating favorable conditions for workers traveling to central and northern provinces to reunite with their families during Tet. Before departure, many workers and their relatives were visibly moved as they received lucky money and warm New Year wishes from trade union representatives.

On the same morning, nearly 40 disadvantaged workers in Dong Nai were supported to return home on the “Trade Union Train – Spring 2026,” a program sponsored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At Bien Hoa Station, trade union officials directly guided workers through boarding procedures and assisted them with transporting their luggage to the train cars. The atmosphere before departure was lively and heartfelt, filled with timely encouragement and well wishes for migrant workers far from home.

Previously, on February 12 in Chon Thanh ward, Dong Nai province, the DLF arranged nine additional bus trips to take workers home for Tet.

There, grassroots Trade Unions and enterprises met with workers, presented lucky money before departure, and extended wishes for safe journeys and warm family reunions during the Lunar New Year 2026.

In addition to the free transport program, the Trade Unions at all levels in the province have rolled out various Tet care activities, including gift presentations, cash assistance, organizing “Reunion Tet” gatherings, and visiting workers unable to return home. These efforts help encourage employees to work with peace of mind and maintain long-term commitment to their enterprises and the locality.
