On February 8, at Loc Thanh commune, the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Provincial Youth Activities Center and accompanying units, organized the "Border Spring" program to present gifts to children and teenagers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Horse 2026.
The program included a variety of practical activities such as cultural and artistic performances, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for residents in the locality. At the same time, the Organizing Committee also carried out Tet care activities for disadvantaged children and teenagers in the commune.

With a total social welfare fund of 150 million VND, the program awarded 10 scholarships and 30 gifts to disadvantaged children; presented the "Lighting the Border Areas" project; and gave gifts and lucky money to students from preschools, primary schools, junior high schools, and Youth Union members in Loc Thanh commune. These gifts helped care for the material and spiritual well-being of residents and children in the border area, thereby promoting the national traditions of "mutual affection and solidarity" and "drinking water, remembering the source".

Speaking at the program, Phan The Cong, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union, said: "Through the program's activities, the Organizing board hopes that the people and children in the border region will receive the attention and sharing from all levels, sectors, and the Youth Union – Youth Federation – Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization. This endeavor will contribute to helping the people, Youth Union members, and children celebrate Tet in a warm, joyful, and affectionate atmosphere."

Through a series of practical, meaningful activities, the "Border Spring" program brought Tet joy to children, teenagers, and residents of Loc Thanh commune.
