Taking part in the program, children and their parents enjoyed lion dance performances and a series of artistic shows celebrating the Party and welcoming the Spring. The event also featured an exhibition of award-winning works from the photo contest “Beautiful Tet of my homeland”; booths showcasing folk games, calligraphy, foreign-language exchange, STEM and robotics activities; drone experience areas; and a traditional cuisine zone, along with a fashion contest themed Spring colors of childhood. Through these activities, children had the opportunity to experience and gain a deeper understanding of traditional Vietnamese Tet culture.

According to Truong Hai Thi, Director of the DCH, in addition to the Loving Spring program, earlier the DCH had coordinated with the Provincial Youth Activity Center and various organizations and benefactors to organize the program “Spring at the border – Tet in the border area” at Dak O Border Guard Post in Dak O commune. At the event, the organizers presented 22 gift packages to officers and soldiers of Dak O Border Guard Post, and gifts to nine students who are foster children and sponsored children of the unit.

Through these programs, the organizers aim to disseminate and educate officials, parents and children about the sound leadership and glorious achievements of the Communist Party of Vietnam over 96 years of formation and development, while celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, the activities demonstrate the care and attention of the Party, the State, authorities at all levels and society as a whole toward children—especially those in particularly difficult circumstances, children in remote and disadvantaged areas, ethnic minority regions, industrial zones, and workers’ boarding-house areas during the nation’s traditional Lunar New Year.
