On the afternoon of January 28, the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization of Dong Nai, together with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, coordinated with Bu Gia Map commune and benefactors to organize the “Spring of Love – Tet of Sharing” program 2026, presenting Tet gifts to disadvantaged households in the border commune of Bu Gia Map.
Attending the program were Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Le Thi Thai; Vice Chairperson of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Tan Phu; and leaders of Bu Gia Map commune.

At the program, the organizing committee presented 300 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged households in Bu Gia Map commune. Each package, valued at more than 500,000 VND, included cash and essential items, helping residents in the locality ease hardships and enjoy a more fulfilling Tet holiday. The entire funding was mobilized by the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, with sponsorship from Thich Hue Nghiep, Deputy Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dong Nai province and abbot of Phuoc An Pagoda, and Venerable Thich Minh Dien of Hai Nghiem Pagoda.
Following the gift presentation, Le Thi Thai, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, together with Nguyen Tan Phu, Vice Chairperson of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the delegation, visited and extended Tet greetings to officers and soldiers stationed at the Dac Ka and Bu Gia Map border guard posts. At each visit, the delegation conveyed their best wishes for the New Year to the units, while also recognizing the efforts of the border guard force in safeguarding border security and sovereignty and in supporting local people in economic development.

On this occasion, the delegation also presented meaningful Tet gifts to encourage officers and soldiers to excellently fulfill their duty of remaining on standby, ensuring peace and safety so that people can enjoy Spring and welcome Tet.
