Dong Nai workers donate to support people affected by storms and floods

Faced with the severe losses caused by recent floods and rains in several provinces in the Central and Central Highlands regions, workers across Dong Nai province have actively participated in donation activities to support affected compatriots.

Specifically, the grassroots Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina JSC (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) mobilized all union members and employees to make voluntary contributions, raising over VND 1.1 billion.

On October 30, the grassroots Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina JSC, in coordination with the Dong Nai Red Cross Society, presented VND 2 billion donated by the company’s officers, employees, and Board of Directors to support residents affected by Storms No. 10 and No. 11.

On December 3, a representative of the grassroots Trade Union of Ci Bao Co., Ltd. (Binh Loc ward, Dong Nai province) handed over nearly VND 165 million in donations to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province to support compatriots affected by the flood. This amount was voluntarily contributed by the company’s union members and workers with the hope of sharing compassion and supporting flood-affected communities in overcoming their difficulties.

At Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu ward, Dong Nai province), more than 40,000 workers joined in supporting flood-affected communities, actively contributing over VND 1.6 billion. On December 10, the company's grassroots Trade Union, in coordination with the Dong Nai Red Cross Society, will depart for the south-central provinces to personally deliver aid to residents impacted by recent floods and natural disasters.
