On December 28, the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai province organized a ceremony to award the “Nguyen Van Ky” scholarships and the “Giving wings to your dreams” scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year to pupils and students in difficult circumstances across the province.

Attending the event were Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF Committee; Truong Thi Kim Hue, Member of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Director of the Department of Education and Training (DoET); Nguyen Tan Phu, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF Committee, together with leaders of the provincial departments and agencies and representatives of sponsors.

At the ceremony, Dong Nai VFF Committee’s Standing Board in coordination with sponsors awarded 150 scholarships to 150 pupils and students from poor households, disadvantaged families, and those who are direct children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and martyrs.
Among them, 100 pupils and students received the Nguyen Van Ky scholarship, with a value ranging from VND 1.5 million to VND 5 million per grant.

Meanwhile, 50 pupils and students received the “Giving wings to your dreams” scholarships scholarships, each valued at between VND 5 million and VND 10 million.

According to the organizers, the Nguyen Van Ky Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 based on voluntary contributions from the family of Le Thi Tru, the spouse of the late Secretary of Bien Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Ky.

Meanwhile, the “Giving wings to your dreams” Scholarship Fund, established in 2018, is sponsored by Tran Cam Nhung, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Long Thanh Golf Company.

Both scholarship funds are managed by Dong Nai VFF Committee’s Standing Board.

To date, the Nguyen Van Ky Scholarship Fund has awarded nearly 2,000 scholarships worth more than VND 5.8 billion to poor and disadvantaged pupils and students who have overcome difficult circumstances to excel in their studies.

The “Giving wings to your dreams” Scholarship Fund has so far awarded 602 scholarships, with a total value of over VND 4.68 billion, to pupils and students who are direct children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and martyrs.

Congratulating the scholarship recipients, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF Committee Ha Anh Dung expressed his hope that the pupils and students would continue to uphold their spirit of overcoming difficulties, strengthen their determination to rise, and persist in studying and cultivating moral values, thereby living up to the care and expectations of their families, teachers, sponsors, and society, and contributing more to the future development of Dong Nai province.

At the same time, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF Committee Ha Anh Dung extended sincere thanks to sponsors and benefactors who have consistently and devotedly contributed valuable resources over many years to sustain and spread the humane significance of the two scholarship funds. He affirmed that the Dong Nai VFF Committee would continue to implement the scholarship programs in strict accordance with commitments to sponsors, regulations, and eligible beneficiaries.
