2025 Scientific Research Camp for Dong Nai Students launched

On December 9, the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union and the Dong Nai Provincial Students’ Association jointly held the opening ceremony for the 2025 Scientific Research Camp for Dong Nai Students (Station 1). The opening ceremony was held at the Binh Phuoc Ward Party Committee Hall under the theme: Dong Nai students inspire innovation and research ideas.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and Standing Vice President of the Provincial Students’ Association, stated that in recent years, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Students’ Association have organized numerous initiatives to support students in their studies, scientific research, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Building on these achievements, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Students’ Association of Dong Nai continue to host the scientific research camp for the students. The camps of this kind in 2025 are being held across three stations: Binh Phuoc ward, Long Phuoc commune, and Dau Giay commune.

The Organizing Committee hopes that the program will help enhance the students’ awareness of the role and significance of scientific research, innovation, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. It also aims to give students foundational knowledge and skills in research thinking, critical thinking, idea development, proposal drafting, and the effective use of digital and AI tools in their studies and future work. At the same time, the program seeks to identify students with talent and passion for scientific research to provide further training and develop a pool of candidates for competitions, awards, and scientific forums at various levels, contributing to building the “Five-good students” model in Dong Nai province in the new phase.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha expressed her hope that the participating students will demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and openness; fully engage in all program activities; confidently exchange and share ideas; and view this as an opportunity to strengthen their research capacity and scientific thinking in connection with digital and AI applications.

At Station 1 of the scientific research camp for the students, students from Mien Dong College (Binh Phuoc ward) joined speakers to explore topics related to developing scientific research thinking and identifying research subjects in their studies and daily lives. They were also introduced to the process of conducting a scientific research project - from defining the topic, subjects, scope, and research methods to planning the implementation and completing the final research product.

In addition, the students were divided into groups to propose research ideas and topics based on their academic majors, interests, or practical issues. They then developed preliminary research outlines following the template provided by the Organizing Committee and presented their ideas and outlines. Based on these presentations, the Organizing Committee will offer adjustments and guidance for further development.

The Scientific Research Camp for Students of Dong Nai Province is scheduled to continue to be held on December 11 at Lilama 2 International Technology College in Long Phuoc commune (Station 2) and at Eastern Polytechnic University in Dau Giay commune (Station 3).
