Speaking at the event, Nguyen Duc Dung, Head of the Social Policy Division, Department of Health, noted that the livelihood support activity for persons with disabilities and victims of Agent Orange forms part of the Inclusion III-b Project. This activity has provided significant encouragement to the community of persons with disabilities in Dong Nai, particularly members of the Long Thanh disability clubs in Bien Hoa, as well as those residing in communes and wards managed by the provincial Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin. Through each round of financial support, individuals and families of persons with disabilities have gained additional resources to develop livelihoods, improve income, and stabilise their household living conditions.
In 2025, Inclusion III-b provided livelihood support funds to 192 cases. In this round alone, 20 persons with disabilities and victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin receive support, with a total budget of 200 million VND.
Nguyen Duc Dung, Head of the Social Policy Division (Department of Health), expressed his hope that the beneficiaries would make effective use of the funds to strengthen their household economies and become active members of the disability community, supporting others with disabilities to overcome difficulties. He also expressed hope that relevant agencies and organisations would continue to join hands to expand the reach of Inclusion III-b throughout Dong Nai Province, thereby further motivating persons with disabilities to improve their lives.
