Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, Ton Ngoc Hanh, noted that Dong Nai’s education sector currently has a large-scale network of schools, teachers, and students, making it highly important and receiving special attention from society. She emphasized that managing the sector requires significant effort, particularly for the leadership of the Department of Education and Training during the initial phase of implementing the two-tier local government model.
Therefore, Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh called on the entire education sector to make even greater efforts, particularly by closely aligning with the targets set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025–2030, on implementing breakthrough tasks in education and training. The sector must coordinate closely and remain determined to ensure that by the end of the term, over 80 percent of schools across the province meet national standards. Every teacher is expected to innovate continuously, firmly grasp their professional expertise, and be proficient in applying information technology and digital transformation to effectively carry out teaching and learning amid ongoing comprehensive educational reform.

Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh emphasized that Dong Nai is striving to meet the core criteria to become a centrally governed city by 2030. Therefore, improving the quality of education and human resources is a critical task. The Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee will continue to give attention, allocate investment, and create all necessary conditions for the province’s education sector to develop appropriately. She called on the Department’s leadership to proactively propose and recommend the sector’s investment and development needs to the provincial leadership for consideration, prioritizing the need for sufficient teaching staff, upgrading infrastructure, modernizing schools and classrooms, and investing especially in school construction in the eight border communes.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh particularly emphasized that by the end of this year, Long Thanh International Airport will receive its first flight and begin commercial operations early next year. Therefore, the Department of Education and Training should not only focus on increasing the proportion of schools meeting national standards but also continue advising the province on attracting social and private investment to build international-standard schools, thereby contributing to the improvement of human resources in the increasingly integrated international period.
