Driven by a spirit of innovation and creativity in both work and learning, many individuals, units, and schools across Dong Nai Province have been asserting their pioneering role in applying technology and developing new, inventive methods.
From this movement, numerous practical and valuable initiatives have emerged. These initiatives not only enhance learning efficiency, boost labor productivity, and generate high economic value, but also contribute to building new-style rural areas that are modern and civilized.
From creativity in teaching and learning…
More than just an excellent and dedicated teacher, Nguyen Thi Hong Tuyen of Tran Hung Dao Secondary School (Tran Bien Ward) is a shining example in the province’s innovation movement, consistently generating initiatives that support teaching and learning. Among her standout contributions is a project featuring 250 situational exercises that help students practice problem-solving tasks in the Civic Education curriculum at the secondary level. With this project, Tuyen won the first prize at the 2025 Dong Nai Provincial Innovative Startup Competition.

Tuyen shared: “The project is built upon 42 themes designed to train students in problem-solving skills, helping them develop moral qualities, positive thinking, and life resilience. A key innovation of the project is a smart card set containing 42 QR-coded cards, each corresponding to a topic in the secondary Civic Education curriculum. Compact and convenient, the card set enables students to revise anytime, anywhere, thereby enhancing learning effectiveness.”
With a mission to continuously innovate and improve educational management quality, Tan Xuan Secondary School (Binh Phuoc Ward) has implemented a facial and fingerprint recognition attendance system for its students. This is the second academic year in which the school has applied electronic attendance system for its students, and it plans to expand the system to administrative staff and teachers. This marks a significant milestone in the school’s digital-transformation roadmap, moving toward a smart, modern, and safe learning environment.

Alongside this, Tan Xuan Secondary School continues to advance STEM education through a “learning-by-doing” approach, including robot assembly and experimental simulations. Notably, in 2025, the school organized its second Robocon Competition, creating a meaningful playground for both teachers and students to learn and innovate. Young “engineers” confidently operated their robots, demonstrating programming abilities, logical thinking, and teamwork. The competition not only ignited students’ passion for creativity but also vividly reflected the school’s strong progress in educational innovation.
…To creativity in work and production
Across many localities in the province, emulation movements such as Excellent and Creative Labour; Outstanding Farmers in Production and Business; and Youth Pioneering in Socio-Economic Development have become powerful motivators, spreading a spirit of innovation among officials, Party members, and residents. These efforts have helped boost productivity, improve work efficiency, and enhance people’s quality of life.
Tan An Commune is one of the localities that has implemented numerous new initiatives and practical models in labour and production. Highlights include administrative-reform innovations following the motto “4 Rights – 4 Always”; and new methods in organizing grassroots sports movements to help develop a stable sports community. Particularly notable is the expansion of the hydroponic vegetable model applying biotechnology, which helps reduce production costs by 20% while producing clean, environmentally friendly products. The hydroponic vegetables use no preservatives and can stay fresh for up to a week.
In Phu Ly Commune, many exemplary farmers have emerged, distinguished by their dynamism and creativity. Unafraid to think differently and take bold action, they not only generate new employment opportunities but also significantly increase their household incomes. Among them is the family of Ha Thang in Ly Lich 2 Hamlet, whose use of organic fertilizer in mandarin farming generates an annual income of over 3 billion VND. The families of Nguyen The Duyen in Bau Phung Hamlet and Nguyen Van Sua in Hamlet 4 have also adopted organic-oriented agricultural production, cultivating citrus varieties such as sugar mandarins and red-fleshed pomelos. These products have been recognized as 3-star items under the OCOP (One Commune, One Product) program, ensuring high quality.
The movement to promote innovation and creativity in work and study across Dong Nai continues to spread widely each day, becoming a driving force that inspires officials, Party members, and residents to strive and excel. This spirit of creativity has emerged as an essential internal resource, contributing to Dong Nai’s increasingly dynamic growth and deeper integration.
According to Than Anh Thiet, Vice Chairman of the Xuan Loc Commune People’s Committee, the local labour and production sector has seen numerous initiatives and creative approaches that deliver high productivity. Notable examples include using self-made machines for rice sowing and corn thinning, which reduces labour requirements and enhances economic efficiency; the expansion of drip-irrigation and fertilizer-delivery systems; the application of mist-spray irrigation in clean-vegetable farming; the modification of grass-cutting machines into tillers; and the creation of low-cost automatic feeding troughs for pig farming.
To further strengthen the movement’s impact, Xuan Loc Commune will continue encouraging its residents from all walks of life to participate in and generate new creative models. The commune will also maintain timely commendation and recognition for individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements. These efforts aim to spread a spirit of innovation and creativity throughout the community.
