In practical response to the Peak Month for the Poor launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, the People’s Committee of Dong Xoai Ward (Dong Nai Province) held a launch ceremony to support the 2025 Fund for the Poor in the ward on the afternoon of November 21.
Attending the launch ceremony were Vu Van Muoi, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the Ward People’s Council, along with members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the People’s Committee, and the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward; representatives of enterprises and companies, as well as philanthropists and sponsors from within and outside the ward.

Right at the ceremony, in response to the call from the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward to support the Fund for the Poor, agencies, units, businesses, and benefactors contributed nearly 300 million VND in total.

Speaking at the ceremony, Duong Hoai Pha, Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the Ward People’s Committee, expressed deep gratitude for the compassion and noble gestures of agencies, units, businesses, philanthropists, and benefactors who have provided significant material and spiritual support to the Ward’s Fund for the Poor. He affirmed that all contributions will be managed and used for the right purposes and beneficiaries, in a public, transparent, and efficient manner, contributing to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social welfare in the ward.
Ward leaders expressed their hope that in the time ahead, Dong Xoai Ward will continue to receive the support and companionship of the whole society so that disadvantaged individuals and families in difficult circumstances may gain additional support, confidence, and motivation to rise in life.

The launch ceremony was successfully held, not only receiving active contributions from organizations, individuals, and philanthropists, but also widely spreading the humanitarian significance of the “For the Poor” movement to all segments of the community, helping to encourage active participation from agencies, units, businesses, and individuals both within and outside the locality.
