Dong Nai police units join efforts to support flood-affected residents

On November 26, responding to the call for supporting people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by recent flooding, the Political Affairs Department of the Dong Nai provincial Police presented VND 50 million to representatives of the police forces of Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa and Quang Ngai, with each province receiving VND 10 million.

In addition, the department donated 1 ton of rice and 100 boxes of instant noodles to residents in Dak Lak province. These units are part of Emulation Cluster No. 6 of the Ministry of Public Security, for which the Dong Nai provincial Police will serve as the cluster leader in 2025.

Through the financial and material donations, officers of the Political Affairs Department expressed their desire to share the difficulties and losses experienced by residents in flood-hit areas, while supporting fellow police units in overcoming challenges and recovering after the disaster.

All funds and goods were contributed by officers of the Political Affairs Department and mobilized from benefactors and donors.

Representatives of the receiving units and leaders of the Political Affairs Department of the Dak Lak provincial Police extended their gratitude for the support and solidarity shown by the Political Affairs Department of the Dong Nai provincial Police. They affirmed that the meaningful donations will be used effectively and promptly delivered to affected residents.

Earlier, during a working trip to support residents in Dak Lak, leaders of the Cybersecurity and Hi-Tech Crime Prevention Division of the Dong Nai provincial Police also presented VND 30 million to residents of Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak province, contributing to efforts to help people overcome hardship. The donation reflects the goodwill and compassion of officers from Dong Nai police units toward flood-affected communities.
