Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment holds dialogue with enterprises and cooperatives

On the morning of November 21, Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment held a conference to meet and engage in dialogue with enterprises and cooperatives operating in the fields of agriculture and environment in the province in 2025.

The conference received nearly 20 opinions focusing on agricultural and environmental issues. In the agricultural sector, participants raised concerns such as: rising input material prices while counterfeit and low-quality goods remain on the market; difficulties in implementing agricultural and rural investment projects due to bauxite planning obstacles; complicated illegal slaughtering activities; requests for support in expanding export planting area codes; the establishment of a fresh fruit testing laboratory in Dong Nai; support for enterprises in developing linkage chains, controlling the quality of export-growing areas, as well as communication, training, and capacity building for farmers and cooperatives in safe production…

In the environmental sector, concerns included: obstacles in land-use planning; requests for guidance and support in resolving difficulties in environmental procedures and documentation, environmental treatment standards in industrial parks; waste classification at source; assistance in expediting procedures for social housing projects…

According to Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment, Nguyen Tuan Anh, the dialogue conference received many contributions, some of which were addressed immediately at the conference. Remaining issues will be recorded and responded to in writing by the department for each specific case. The contributions from enterprises and cooperatives in the conference serves as a basis for the department to organize additional working sessions, workshops, and training activities to resolve difficulties in the coming period. Issues beyond the department’s authority will be reported to the Provincial People’s Committee and relevant ministries and agencies.

The director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Tuan Anh expressed his hope that enterprises, cooperatives, and farmers would continue actively contributing their feedback. He affirmed the department’s commitment to further promoting administrative reform and shifting from a management mindset to a service-oriented approach, creating favourable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives, and farmers to invest in and develop production.
