Nearly 194 tonnes of rice allocated to support students in Dong Nai

The Dong Nai Department of Education and Training is working with the Sub-department of State Reserves Region 2 to receive and distribute rice from the national reserve to students in local educational institutions for the first semester of the 2025–2026 school year, in accordance with Government Decree No. 66/2025/ND-CP dated March 12, 2025.

Beneficiaries of the national reserve rice support include children in kindergartens, as well as students and trainees in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The government has allocated a total of nearly 194 tonnes of rice from the national reserve to support students in Dong Nai during the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. The distribution is being carried out in two phases, scheduled for October and November.

In the first phase, more than 104 tonnes are being distributed to 22 educational institutions across 13 communes and wards. In the second phase, 89.5 tonnes will be allocated to 9 schools in 9 localities.
