Speaking at the program, Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Head of the Women's Affairs Department, Vietnam Women's Union, stated: In recent years, the National Target Program on new-style rural development has achieved many important results, contributing to changing the face of rural areas and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people. Contributing to the National Target Program on new-style rural development, women's unions at all levels have implemented and replicated the "3-clean" model, attracting a large number of members and women in many localities to participate in.

Deputy Head of the Women's Affairs Department, Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy,  believes: The implementation of criteria in building advanced new-style rural areas and model new-style rural areas today requires further promotion of the core role of women in propagating and mobilizing people to sort waste at the source, use clean water, plant green trees, build model gardens, and create safe and friendly living spaces for women and children.

The Vietnam Women's Union organized a training session on implementing the "3-clean" model to build a bright - green - clean, safe rural landscape for women and children with the desire to help women improve their knowledge and skills in organizing and implementing the "3-clean" model in line with local realities. Thereby, officials, members, and women will promote a proactive and creative spirit to effectively implement the model, joining efforts with the political system to achieve the goal of building a sustainable, civilized, and distinctive new rural area.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union hopes that, in addition to the Central training program, all levels of the union will continue to promote propaganda, mobilize resources, and encourage members and women to actively implement the "3-clean" model. Every official, member, and woman, after being trained, will become an active propagandist in environmental protection and building a bright - green - clean - safe new rural area.

Attending the training session, officials, members, and women learned about the environment, the consequences when the environment is affected; the current status of waste treatment in the province; the negative impacts of household waste; and the benefits of sorting waste at the source. In addition, officials, members, and women were guided on how to properly sort waste at the source; learned about the importance of clean water and understood more about the role of all levels of the union, members, and women in implementing the "3-clean" model...
