Employees of TKG Taekwang Vina JSC donate 2 billion VND to support flood-affected compatriots

On the morning of October 23, the grassroots trade union of TKG Taekwang Vina JSC (Tran Bien Ward) presented a symbolic donation of 2 billion VND to the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society to provide prompt support to compatriots affected by the floods.

This amount was contributed by all employees of the company with the desire to share a part of the difficulties with compatriots severely affected by typhoons No. 10 and No. 11.

Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the grassroots trade union at TKG Taekwang Vina JSC, said that with the spirit of "the good leaves protect the torn leaves" and "mutual support and compassion," the company’s grassroots trade union raised VND 2 billion in just three days following the launch of the campaign, thanks to contributions from staff, union members, and employees. The company’s workforce hopes to contribute a small part in helping flood-affected compatriots quickly stabilize their lives.

On October 26, representatives of the trade union and the company’s workers, together with the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society, are expected to travel to the central and northern provinces to support people severely affected by floods.
