Dong Nai speeds up construction to meet deadlines on key projects

At the Long Thanh International Airport Construction Project, compensation, site clearance and investment in resettlement areas have been completed. Dong Nai Province is implementing related projects in the area, including: Phase 1 of the Drainage Project outside Long Thanh Airport with the Project Management Board of Region 5 acting as the investor. The contractor selection for preparing the project’s feasibility study report is expected to be approved in November 2025.

The Long Thanh International Airport Public Security Station construction project has a total investment of about 44.9 billion VND, which is expected to be completed in October 2025. The project investor is implementing items such as: a 3-storey office building block, a 2-storey staff and soldier accommodation block, guard tower, fence, guard house, underground water tank, garage... with a total volume reaching about 52%. Particularly, the International Health Quarantine Headquarters project in the area south of the main road has an area of ​​0.45 hectares with an investment of about 161 billion VND and is organizing the selection of contractors.

For Component Project 1 under Phase 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project, the total executed value has reached 50.2%. The capital plan for 2025 allocated to this Component Project 1 amounts to 965 billion VND, with 55.5% disbursed to date. Due to the impact of the weather, the embankment construction work has been prolonged compared to the requirements.

Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board said: In the past time, it has regularly inspected and urged contractors to take specific measures to speed up construction progress during the rainy season. In particular, the unit has requested Hai Dang Joint Stock Company to coordinate with subcontractors to urgently construct the overpass road at Km11+183 in package No. 21 once approval is granted.

During the field survey, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Ton Ngoc Hanh reminded the relevant parties that little time remains until the technical opening of the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway Construction Project on December 19, 2025; therefore, departments, branches and units must actively urge progress and increase construction shifts to meet the targets assigned by the Central government and the Provincial Party Committee.

The provincial leader also noted that investors must strengthen supervision and support construction units in coordinating material sources. In particular, alongside quickly implementing construction, it is also necessary to closely monitor labor safety and construction quality to ensure stable and long-term use in the future.
