Dong Nai receives donations to support disaster-hit residents

On October 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai province received donations from various individuals and organizations to support people affected by natural disasters. Contributions were made both directly and via bank transfers.

Specifically, on behalf of the Standing Committee of Dong Nai VFF, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF Nguyen Tan Phu received a direct donation of over VND 110 million at the committee’s headquarters, located at 38 Vo Thi Sau street, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province. The amount was contributed by the grassroots trade union of Grand Gain Footwear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Dong Xoai ward).

At the same time, many individuals, agencies, and organizations made contributions via bank transfer to the committee’s accounts at the State Treasury of Region XVII (Account No. 3761.01021516.91999) and at Vietcombank – Dong Nai Branch (Account No. 1210006868). Among them were officials, public employees, and workers of the Dong Nai Department of Construction, with a donation of over VND 100 million; the Dong Nai Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, with a contribution of VND 35 million; and staff of Song May Industrial Park Development JSC, with a contribution of VND 16 million.

To date, the Dong Nai VFF has received over VND 26.4 billion in contributions from more than 5,400 individuals and organizations in support of people affected by natural disasters.

*On the same day, the Dong Nai Red Cross Society received donations from four individuals and organizations, including items such as instant noodles and used clothing. To date, the society has collected over VND 1.6 billion in cash and goods valued at approximately VND 300 million, contributed by 265 individuals and organizations. Donations were made either directly at its headquarters at 3 Hoang Minh Chau Street, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province, or via bank transfer to account No. 20251234 at Vietinbank – Binh Phuoc Branch.
