Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee and the call of the VFF of Dong Nai province for donations to support residents in disaster-hit provinces and cities, in recent days, the Provincial VFF and the Provincial Red Cross Society (PRCS) have received contributions from many individuals, agencies, units and enterprises.
On October 21, Vice Chairwoman of the PRCS Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh received 700 boxes of instant noodles, one ton of rice, 300 cartons of bottled drinking water and 100 kilograms of granulated sugar donated by Dau Giay commune VFF to support disaster-affected residents. The donation was contributed and collected from residents in the locality since early October.

According to Vice Chairwoman of the PRCS Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, the PRCS has so far received more than VND 2.6 billion in cash, along with goods worth approximately VND 1 billion, including instant noodles, rice, bottled water, and various types of milk, donated by individuals, agencies, and enterprises.

The PRCS is continuing to receive donations in cash and in kind to support residents in disaster-affected provinces until October 31, 2025, at its headquarters located at No. 03 Hoang Minh Chau street, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province, or via bank transfer to the account: Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society, No. 20251234, Vietinbank – Binh Phuoc Branch, with transfer description: name of unit/individual + “Chung tay vuot lu” 2025 (Join hands to overcome floods 2025).
On October 21, Principal Pham Thi Diu of Phan Dinh Phung Primary School in Long Binh ward, Dong Nai province said that in response to the call of the Provincial VFF and with the spirit of mutual support, teachers, staff and students of the school have actively joined efforts to support residents in Northern and Central provinces affected by Storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

After more than a week of mobilization, the school has received over VND 236.4 million in donations from its officials, teachers, staff, and students. The entire sum will be transferred to the provincial VFF for delivery to residents affected by Storm No. 10. This effort aims to show solidarity and provide encouragement to those working to overcome the challenges caused by the disaster.
The Xuan Loc commune VFF reported that, from October 5 to the present, following its donation appeal to support residents severely affected by Storm No. 10, the commune has mobilized nearly VND 965 million in contributions.
Chairwoman of the commune VFF Nguyen Thi Thuy said that immediately after the launch of the donation campaign, the commune received active support from officials, officers, locals, enterprises, religious organizations and students, demonstrating the “compassion and solidarity: of Xuan Loc residents.

In continued response to the call of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the provincial VFF, and in the spirit of the saying “Love others as you love yourself,” the VFF Committee of Xuan Loc Commune is calling on all officials, officers, residents, and local enterprises to continue making both material and spiritual contributions to help communities affected by Storm No. 10 overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
