Da Kia A Primary School (Da Kia Commune) is among the collectives honored at the Dong Nai Province Patriotic Emulation Congress 2025. This achievement recognizes the school’s persistent efforts over the years, from investing in comprehensive facilities and innovating teaching methods to building a friendly and modern learning environment.

From a border-area school once facing many difficulties, Da Kia A Primary School has risen to become a shining example in local education, affirming the effectiveness of the “Good Teaching – Good Learning” emulation movement across the province.

From a border-area school to a beacon of education

Once a modest school in a border commune, Da Kia A Primary School now boasts a fresh and vibrant appearance: a green, clean, and beautiful campus, shaded trees, friendly classrooms, and lively outdoor reading corners.

In recent years, the school’s leadership has continuously invested in and introduced innovations to enhance educational quality. In the 2025–2026 academic year, the school has 455 students across 20 classes. All classrooms are equipped with televisions, visual teaching aids, reading corners, and nature corners. Students learn in open spaces that encourage exploration and creativity.

Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, a Grade 5A2 student, shared: “What I love most about my school is that our teachers are always dedicated. They organize fun lessons like STEM classes where we learn through videos, vivid images, and real-life activities.”

From a school once lacking basic facilities, Da Kia A Primary School has now become a model of educational excellence in the region. This success is the result of the dedication, responsibility, and love for the profession of its staff and teachers, who have chosen to stay and devote themselves to this borderland, striving every day to create a better, more modern, and happier learning environment for their students.

Beyond building classrooms, the school focuses on creating a “happy school”, a place where students are listened to, loved, and find joy in every school day.

Le Trong Hoang, a Grade 4A2 student, said: “I love coming to school because our teachers care for and listen to us. If I don’t understand something, they patiently explain. We also get to play games and join activities. Every day at school feels joyful.”

Every lesson, extracurricular activity, and student’s smile embodies the belief that education in the border region is transforming for the better. This spirit helped Da Kia A Primary School earn its recognition at the Dong Nai Province Patriotic Emulation Congress 2025, not only as a reward for its perseverance but also as a source of pride for border-region education.

Innovation to shine

If modern facilities form a solid foundation, innovative teaching methods are the “spark” that makes Da Kia A Primary School truly shine. Implementing the 2018 General Education Program, the school’s teachers constantly learn, innovate, and apply technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in their lessons, making classes more engaging, practical, and effective.

Teacher Trinh Thi Khen shared: “In my teaching, I frequently use information technology and AI tools to make my lessons more lively. Combining games with learning keeps students excited, helps them absorb knowledge faster, and encourages them to express their ideas confidently.”

Innovation extends beyond academic subjects. Physical education lessons are also refreshed to make learning fun and collaborative. Teacher Thieu Sy Anh explained: “In PE classes, I try to renew my teaching approach. Alongside skill exercises, I include physical games to make the lessons more cheerful and help students bond with one another.”

Thanks to their collective efforts, the school’s overall educational quality has significantly improved. All students complete their primary education program; many have won prizes in contests and talent competitions. Numerous teachers have earned the title of “Excellent Teacher” and developed innovative teaching methods. In 2022, the school was certified at Accreditation Level 2 and recognized as National Standard Level 1. For five consecutive years, it has led Emulation Group 9, earning two Emulation Flags and three Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People’s Committee. The school’s Young Pioneer Team has also consistently achieved excellent performance, contributing to a vibrant emulation movement throughout the sector.

Speaking about the school’s honor at this year’s Patriotic Emulation Congress, Vice Principal Truong Van Tuan said: “This is a great honor and pride for our entire school. It recognizes years of persistent effort. Alongside pride, it is also a responsibility for us to continue improving education quality to live up to the trust of parents and students.”
