During the program, journalist Dang Sinh from Thanh Nien Newspaper, who also serves as a lecturer at VJTC, delivered eight modules covering fundamental knowledge and skills for applying AI in journalistic practice. These included using AI as an assistant to generate ideas, create content, plan tasks, and manage workflows, as well as employing AI tools for tasks related to images, audio, video, charts, and graphics that directly support journalism and communications work.

Throughout the course, participants practiced using various AI tools to master the practical steps. They were also given guidelines and cautions on the responsible and effective use of AI in their work.

Since the beginning of the year, VJTC has organized over 100 professional development courses on a wide range of topics, designed to enhance the skills and expertise of members of the Vietnam Journalists Association nationwide. Participation in these courses enables reporters and editors from news agencies to deepen their knowledge and sharpen their skills, thereby improving the quality of journalistic products across various formats, including print, online, radio, and television, to better meet the public’s information needs across multiple platforms.
