This year, September 5 marks the first time in history that all levels of education, from preschool to university nationwide, hold the opening ceremony of the new academic year on the same day. The event also commemorates the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education, now known as the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET).
