On September 7, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation announced that, to improve meal quality and ensure nutrition and health for union members and workers, the Standing Board of the Provincial Labor Federation has instructed grassroots trade unions to effectively implement the "Trade Union Meal" program in 2025, with a focus on practicality and close connection to workers' daily lives.

Accordingly, grassroots trade unions are working with employers to implement the program practically and effectively, fostering a sense of engagement, connection, and solidarity with workers. Since early July 2025, 115 grassroots trade unions have organized Trade Union Meals, benefiting more than 190,000 workers. The additional support from the union has reached up to 50,000 VND per serving, with some meals valued as high as 150,000 VND per serving. Many grassroots trade unions have refreshed the program by organizing special meals alongside gift-giving, lucky draws, and birthday celebrations for workers.
The Trade Union Meal reflects the commitment to caring for both the material and spiritual well-being of workers. It creates a warm, friendly atmosphere where union members can connect, helping to foster solidarity between workers, the trade union, and employers. This activity also serves to motivate and encourage workers to stay with the company in the long term.
