Over 1.46 billion VND received to support 20 social welfare facilities

On September 10, Nguyen Tan Phu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, presided over a ceremony to receive and distribute gifts to lonely elderly seniors, orphans, and people with disabilities currently being cared for at social welfare facilities across the province. The support was sponsored by the Dong Nai General Agricultural Service Cooperative Union (Donacoop).

At the program, Nguyen Tan Phu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented a thank-you plaque to Donacoop and expressed his wish to continue receiving the unit's contributions in the coming time to carry out social welfare work in the area.

Meanwhile, he also stated that immediately after receiving the gifts worth over 1.46 billion VND from Donacoop, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will organize a delegation to visit and present them to 20 social welfare facilities across the province that are caring for more than 1,800 orphans, people with disabilities, and lonely elderly individuals.
