On the afternoon of September 3, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Thanh commune, Duong Minh Dung, chaired the bicycle handover ceremony to primary and secondary schools in the commune on the occasion of the new school year opening.

For the 2025–2026 school year, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Thanh commune mobilized support from benefactors to provide 130 bicycles, with a total value of 208 million VND. The bicycles were distributed to 13 primary and secondary schools in the commune (10 per school) for donation to students in difficult circumstances who strive to excel in both study and life.
Long Thanh commune has a total of 19 schools at all levels (including 6 kindergartens, while the rest are primary and secondary schools). The school system in the area has been well-maintained, ready for teachers and students to enter the new school year.

On the morning of September 3, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Duc Thang and union officials visited and offered support to union member Vo Tan Loc, who was injured in a workplace accident at VTC Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company in Phuoc Thai commune, Dong Nai province.

Loc sustained a workplace accident at the company in early July 2025. While adjusting the forklift forks to lower a hopper during work, the hopper from the spray tower fell unexpectedly and struck him. As a result, he suffered a contusion on the right side of his face and a soft tissue tear in his lower leg. Following the incident, the company took him to the emergency room, covered the cost of surgery, and promptly visited and encouraged him. His health has since stabilized, and he is continuing physical therapy at home.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation provided Vo Tan Loc with 5 million VND to help cover medical treatment costs.
