As of August 31, 2025, policy credit capital had reached over 11.5 trillion VND, including more than 2.3 trillion VND from local budget sources. In the past eight months, loans were disbursed to 45,200 poor households and other policy beneficiaries. This figure has brought the total number of active policy loan recipients to over 213,000 cases.
In recent times, more than 4,500 savings and loan groups and 270 policy credit transaction points across 95 communes and wards have effectively carried out policy credit activities in accordance with regulations. Notably, 63.6% of Social Policy Bank customers use the policy credit management app to conduct related transactions.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son highly appreciated the efforts and results achieved by the Dong Nai branch of the Social Policy Bank in recent months.
According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son, in the coming period, the province will review and develop new criteria for identifying poor and near-poor households, as well as for national target programs. In addition, the province will focus on implementing social housing initiatives to help residents achieve stable living conditions. The group of beneficiaries eligible for policy credit programs is also expanding, which directly impacts credit activities as the number of cases qualifying for policy loans is expected to rise.
Therefore, the Social Policy Bank-Dong Nai branch needs to be proactive and coordinate with relevant departments and localities to develop a plan for implementing policy credit in the new phase to meet the people's demand for access to policy capital. At the same time, it needs to strengthen the application of information technology and promote digital transformation in policy credit activities to increase connectivity with people and improve work efficiency.
According to the provincial leadership, in many communes, groundwater is contaminated with iron and alum, leaving residents without access to clean water during the dry season; meanwhile, sanitation facilities in many households remain substandard. Therefore, the Dong Nai branch of the Social Policy Bank should consider the implementation of the Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation Loan Program as a key priority to help improve living conditions for local people.
At the same time, the branch is urged to continue supporting individuals who have completed their prison sentences in accessing policy credit to create self-employment opportunities.
It is also necessary to create favorable conditions for residents to access education-related credit programs, particularly families whose land has been reclaimed for development projects, helping them pursue studies to secure future employment and proactively transition to new livelihoods after relocating.
To develop a team of highly skilled policy credit professionals, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son requested the Dong Nai branch of the Social Policy Bank to coordinate with departments and localities in organizing training sessions for heads of savings and loan groups, as well as members of associations and mass organizations entrusted with capital management.
