Dong Nai allocates over 1 billion VND in scholarships for disadvantaged students at the school year opening ceremony

The opening ceremony for the new academic year 2025-2026 will simultaneously take place nationwide on the morning of September 5. This year's opening program will be different from previous years.

Accordingly, all educational institutions from preschool to university levels will simultaneously organize the Opening Ceremony for the new academic year 2025-2026 on the morning of September 5.

The school year opening ceremony will consist of two parts: the festive segment and the formal segment. The festive segment will take place at each school and include brief activities such as welcoming new students, cultural performances, stating the purpose of the event, introducing attending delegates, and presenting congratulatory flowers and commendations from provincial and local leaders. All schools are required to complete the festive segment of the opening ceremony before 8:00 a.m.

In the formal segment, delegates and students will gather in classrooms to attend the ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the National Ministry of Education (August 28, 1945 – 2025), now the Ministry of Education and Training, combined with the opening of the 2025–2026 academic year. The ceremony will be broadcast live on VTV1, the national television channel, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.

Schools watching the live broadcast of the anniversary and new academic year opening ceremony will conduct the flag salute and sing the national anthem simultaneously with the ceremony taking place at the My Dinh National Convention Center.

In Dong Nai, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and leaders of departments, agencies, and sectors will attend and share the joy of the Opening Ceremony for the new academic year 2025-2026 with many educational institutions. The province also allocated over 1 billion VND to award scholarships to disadvantaged students in the province during the opening ceremony.
