500 Youth Union members and volunteers take action to deal with "black spots" of waste

On the morning of September 7, at a vacant lot in Quarter 3, Trang Dai Ward, the Trang Dai Ward Youth Union joined hands with the Vietnam Green Group and ACB Bank Dong Nai cluster to launch the 2025 Green Sunday campaign, aiming to promote a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful environment.

To contribute to environmental protection, in recent times, Trang Dai ward has regularly organized Green Sunday events, featuring activities such as cleaning the environment, planting trees, collecting waste, and sorting garbage at the source.

At the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of Trang Dai Ward People's Committee Huynh Van Tuan called on all officials, Youth Union members, association members, and residents to raise awareness and take responsibility by actively protecting the environment through even the smallest actions, contributing to building Trang Dai into a green, clean, beautiful, and civilized ward, and advancing Dong Nai toward sustainable development.

After the kickoff ceremony, 500 Youth Union members and youth from Trang Dai ward and volunteers from the Vietnam Green Group and ACB Bank Dong Nai cluster started collecting garbage at vacant lots and several roads in Quarter 3, Trang Dai ward, where there were numerous spontaneous garbage dumping sites.

As a result, after a morning of work, Youth Union members, young people, and volunteers collected approximately 5 tons of waste of various types.
