On the morning of August 26, in Dong Nai province, Regiment 719 (Corps 16) coordinated with Tri Nhan Production, Trading and Transport Co., Ltd. to organize a technical training class on raising breeding cows for households participating in the socio-economic development model, connecting soldiers with people in ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

Thirty-two households from Dak Nhau and Bom Bo communes participated in the training session. At the event, technical staff from Tri Nhan Company provided detailed guidance on selecting cattle breeds, constructing standard-compliant barns, and ensuring hygiene, biosecurity, and environmental sustainability.

The training program combined both theoretical and practical components. Its core content included: techniques for breed selection, care, and the prevention and treatment of cattle diseases; hygienic barn construction procedures; methods for managing livestock feed and water; and, notably, the application of bio-secure breeding techniques adapted to climate change.

Immediately after the theoretical part, Regiment 719 organized for the households to go on a field trip to learn about successful breeding cow models in the area.

The training session not only helps participants improve their knowledge and livestock-raising skills, but also serves as essential preparation before receiving breeding stock under the livelihood support program. It thereby contributes to ensuring the practical effectiveness of the national target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas.
